The PalletMach plastic pallet machine turns Philippine mixed waste into molded pallets

Recently, the Isabela Provincial Government in the Philippines officially launched a waste-to-resource project in collaboration with PalletMach. The core of the project is a complete automated plastic pallet production line capable of transforming mixed local plastic waste into sturdy and environmentally friendly molded pallets.

In August, PalletMach's technical team conducted a comprehensive on-site assessment at the client's facility in the Philippines. The waste consists of various plastic types—including PET, PP, PE, PVC, HDPE, and LDPE—comprising packaging bottles and household plastic waste of different shapes and sizes, presenting a typical mixed waste challenge.

Core Stage 1: Precision Pre-treatment for Optimal Plasticization

Unlike processing clean materials, mixed waste plastics require strict pre-treatment to ensure successful plasticization and molding—a critical stage for any efficient plastic pallet machine line.
Crushing for Uniform Granulation: The plastic pallet production line begins with a crushing system that processes plastics of various sizes into uniform particles, creating consistent raw material for the next stages.
Washing for High Purity: Depending on the plastic type and contamination level, a flexible washing process (including pre-washing, friction washing, and rinsing) is employed to thoroughly remove impurities like metals, glass, adhesives, oils, and labels, ensuring the recycled material meets the purity standards required for high-quality pallet production.

Core Stage 2: Molding with PalletMach's Advanced Plastic Pallet Machine

The cleaned material is plasticized in an extruder and then molded using PalletMach's core equipment.
Before the plastic pallet machine purchased by the customer was dispatched, it had undergone a trial run at the PalletMach factory, and the first batch of pallet samples were successfully produced.

Next Steps: Deployment and Commissioning in the Philippines

All equipment has been shipped to the Philippines. PalletMach engineers will soon arrive for installation, commissioning, and operator training, with full production scheduled to commence in March.
