PalletMach Transformed Sunflower Shells into High-Quality Seed Shell Moulded Pallets.
In Bulgaria, there is an agricultural export company that produces large quantities of agricultural waste every year—mainly sunflower seed shells, wheat straw, and other crop residues. These piles of waste not only take up valuable factory space but also generate no real value.

The company's owner, a meticulous and highly responsible woman, had long been researching how to turn agricultural waste into sunflower shell Seed Shell Moulded Pallets. However, she had never found a satisfactory solution—until November 2023, when she reached out to PalletMach via WhatsApp.
Building Trust with Detailed Support
From the very beginning, the client asked detailed and technical questions. Instead of giving vague answers, our sales team:
With over 15 years of experience in the molded pallet industry, PalletMach continuously upgrades its equipment and technology to stay ahead of production trends. Based on the client's needs, we recommended the new MDI adhesive and presented a clear comparison between automatic and manual production lines, helping her choose the most cost-effective option.
In 2024, she visited our factory in person, discussing factory layout, power requirements, and technical details with our engineering team. Once the contract details, nameplate designs, and Seed Shell Moulded Pallet styles were confirmed, she placed a single order for four single-station molding machines, along with glue mixers, mold temperature machines, and two fully automatic production lines.
1. "I Changed the Molds—Why Didn't It Work?"
When the equipment arrived and began production, the client faced a challenge: the sunflower shell Seed Shell Moulded Pallets were sticking to the mold during demolding, resulting in poor quality. Initially, she suspected the mold design was flawed and even purchased a locally made flat mold—but the problem persisted. Not only did the pallets stick to the mold, but they also chipped easily.
2. Taking Responsibility and Finding the Root Cause
After detailed communication, our after-sales team quickly identified the root cause: during production, no release agent was being used, and the mold frame had been removed, causing sticking issues. Despite the time zone difference, PalletMach's technicians responded promptly at night, providing operation guides and sending specialized release agents from China. After applying the release agent, the Seed Shell Moulded Pallets could be removed easily, with smooth surfaces and precise dimensions.
However, a slight chipping issue remained. To resolve it completely, we performed spot welding and polishing on the original mold and advised the client to slow down the back-feeding speed during production.

The client highly appreciated PalletMach's "no excuses, no giving up"attitude and praised our technical team for their patience and dedication. Her production line went from repeated adjustments to stable, high-efficiency operation.
