PalletMach Helps Turn Kenaf Stalks into Pallets: A Success Story with Our Malaysian Client!
In modern production, waste is an inevitable byproduct. However, many seemingly useless wastes can be revitalized and transformed into valuable products through scientific processing and technological innovation.
Converting production waste into pallets not only helps reduce resource wastage but also creates a win-win situation for both environmental protection and economic benefits.
Kenaf Stalks Find New Life
In 2022, a client from Malaysia contacted us through overseas social media.
The client mentioned that their company produces a large amount of agricultural waste during the production of kenaf ropes, primarily lightweight and low-density kenaf stalks, which are troublesome to process.
Given Malaysia's strict environmental standards, which require businesses to sort recyclables and recycle them through designated channels, they were urgently seeking a green solution to process the kenaf stalks.
After thoroughly understanding the client's needs, our team decided to visit Malaysia in March 2023.
A Productive Visit and Shared Vision for Sustainability
The visit proved highly fruitful. We toured the client’s kenaf plantation and held in-depth discussions at their office in Kuala Lumpur. The local government is actively promoting sustainable development, which aligned perfectly with our company’s values. The client was very receptive to our initial proposal, which focused on sustainable development and turning waste into valuable resources.
Although we continued to stay in touch after this initial meeting, the project was temporarily put on hold.
Project Reboot and Progress
The turning point came in October 2024 when the client reached out to us again, requesting an updated quote and expressing interest in restarting the project.
We responded quickly by providing a new quote and asking the client to send the raw materials for critical testing. Our business team also sent detailed documents with preparation lists and instructions.

After thorough preparations, in May 2025, we finally received the kenaf stalks from the client. At the same time, the client decided to visit our company and factory in person.
Efficient Testing
To ensure the smooth progress of the collaboration, the client planned a 3-day visit. Our factory’s efficiency was remarkable, as we completed the tests in just one day, and the results were highly favorable.

Coincidentally, we had a set of custom-made kenaf stalk molds for a U.S. client, which perfectly matched the client’s needs, so we were able to begin testing immediately.
After this face-to-face meeting, the client expressed satisfaction with our equipment performance and recognized our professionalism.
Confirming the Collaboration
The following day, both sides carefully confirmed the details of the solution, and everything was agreed upon smoothly.
The client mentioned that they would further discuss with their team upon returning home and customize a specific mold to test the samples. The final official order would include two production lines, and the client looks forward to establishing a long-term partnership, promoting this pallet project in Malaysia for a mutually beneficial outcome.
Conclusion
Through this collaboration, we not only demonstrated our technical advantages in kenaf stalk processing but also successfully implemented the concept of sustainable development and environmental protection by turning production waste into valuable products. We will continue to promote cooperation with the client and look forward to the project taking root in Malaysia in the near future, bringing more opportunities and achievements for both parties!
